Our Winter Reading Challenge ends on February 9th! There’s still time to register and log 400 minutes (just over 6.5 hours) to complete the challenge.

 

Events & Special Dates

DIY Ski & Board Waxing Night | Tuesday February 3rd | 6:30-8:30pm 

Come by and wax your gear here at the Library. Drop in between 6:30 and 8:30 to wax your skis or board--all supplies provided by the Library, including popcorn.

 

Creative Reset: Handmade Journals (Japanese Stab Binding) | Monday February 9th | 6:30pm-8pm

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of Japanese stab binding and assemble a personalized journal or sketchbook to take home. For Teens & Adults.

 

Hearts & Crafts Valentines Activity | Friday, Feb 14th | Drop in between 11:30am - 2pm

 Celebrate Valentine’s Day with three creative drop-in activities: a LEGO STEM build, a snack craft, and a paper headband craft to take home. Perfect for young makers who love to build, create, and snack!

Kids under 8 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. (All ages welcome — best for kids)

 

Winter Bloom Painting Afternoon | Saturday, February 28th | 12-2pm | Registration Required

Brighten up winter with a cozy floral paint night on engraved wood. Participants will paint a laser-etched wooden medallion, creating a one-of-a-kind piece to take home. Relax, sip something warm, and enjoy a simple creative afternoon — no experience needed. Registration Required - Maximum of 9 participants

Join us at the library to play minecraft with friends. No registration required.

Tiny Tales & Playtime

Mondays | 10:30 - 11:30am | Ages 0-5

Storytime from 10:30-11am - Fun read-alouds and activities to build literacy: read-sing-talk-write-play! Then stay & play from 11-11:30am - Make new friends and enjoy open-ended playtime while developing fine and gross motor skills and supporting social emotional learning. No registration required.

Virtual Pro Se Free Legal Clinic

2nd Monday of the month | 4-6pm | Anyone in need

Got legal questions? We can help! Join us for our Free Legal Clinic at the library.

🔹 5 free 20-minute sessions available.

🔹 Volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help with forms, and explain legal processes.

🔹 Spanish interpretation available.

Book Club for Adults

1st Wednesday of the month | 7-8pm | Treeline

Every month we read one book, and meet on the 1st Wednesday to discuss our readings. Discussion meetings held in the Library, or around town.

Once you register, Finn from the library will reach out with details regarding the month's and readers may come to the library to get their book for the upcoming month.

*At least 8 copies of the book on hand--first come, first serve.*

 

Colorado Workforce Center Assistance

2nd  Wednesday of the month | 12:30-3:30 | Baby Doe Room

Stop by the library on the second Wednesday of every month from 12:30-3:30 to meet with a representative of the Colorado Workforce Center. For employees and employers. Get help and resources for all things related to jobs and careers!

 

Make & Take Club

Second Wednesday, Monthly | 4:00-5:00pm | Ages 8-12

Get creative with polymer clay! Kids ages 8–12 will design and sculpt their own mini creations using colorful polymer clay. This hands-on program encourages imagination, fine motor skills, and self-expression. All materials are provided—just bring your creativity!

 

Cuentitos & Giggles

Every Other Thursday | February 12th & 26th | 10:30-11:30 | Ages 0-5

Let’s laugh, learn, and explore two languages! Enjoy stories, songs, and activities in English and Spanish designed to spark joy and early literacy. This program will be held every other Thursday, alternating with Little Explorers Club.

 

Little Explorers Club

Every Other Thursday | February 5th & 19th | 10:30-11:30 | Ages 0-5

We’ll dive into hands-on experiments, crafts, and early learning fun as we explore shapes, colors, and letters. Everyone is welcome! We’ll also have time to play and learn together with friends. This program will be held every other Thursday, alternating with Cuentitos & Giggles.

 

Tarot Club

1st Thursday of the Month | 6:30 - 8:30pm | Ages 18+ (or teens with parent/guardian)

Join the Tarot Tarts to enjoy a space of community while learning more about tarot. Bring your deck or use one of ours! No registration required.

 

Game Night for Adults

Second Thursday of the month | 6:30 - 8:30pm | Ages 18+

Are you an adult who likes playing games? Whether you're new to board games or a pro, come to the library and have fun with us! Every month we'll have a different featured game. Popcorn, hot chocolate, and tea will be provided; feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Leave your kids at home & bring your competitive spirit! No registration required.
 

Magic: The Gathering Club

Fridays | 3:00 - 4:00 | Ages Suggested 12+

Every Friday, build decks, trade cards, and challenge friends to matches. Suggested for ages 12+ but all interested are welcome! No registration required.
 

CRAFT ANARCHY

CRAFT ANARCHY is a self publishing program focused on learning self publishing techniques that can get your message out effectively! Do you struggle to get to the library during business hours? Is leaving your home a challenge? We can bring library materials to you! Whether you want to be surprised with topics you choose or you want to choose specific materials, the library can drop off and pick up your items whenever and wherever it is convenient for you. ¡Nuestro Reto de Lectura de Invierno termina el 9 de Febrero! Aún hay tiempo para registrarte y registrar 400 minutos (poco más de 6.25 horas) para completar el reto. 

 

Eventos y Fechas Especiales

Noche DIY de Encerado de Esquís y Tablas | Martes | 6:30- 8:30pm 

Ven a la biblioteca y encera tu equipo aquí mismo. Pasa entre 6:30 y 8:30 para encerar esquís o tabla todos los materiales están incluidos, ¡hasta palomitas!

 

Creative Reset: Diarios hechos a mano (Encuadernación Japonesa) | Lunes 9 de Febrero | 6:30- 8pm

En este taller práctico, los participantes aprenderán los conceptos básicos de la encuadernación japonesa y armaron un diario o cuaderno de dibujo personalizado para llevar a casa. Para adolescentes y adultos.
 

Corazones y Manualidades- Actividad de San Valentín | Viernes 14 de Febrero | 11:30- 2pm

Celebra el día de San Valentin con 3 actividades creativas sin registro: una construcción STEM con LEGO, una manualidad comestible y una diadema de papel para llevar a casa. ¡Perfecto para pequeños creadores a quienes les encanta construir, crear y disfrutar un snack! 

Los niños menores de 8 años deben estar acompañados por un padre, madre o cuidador. (Todas las edades son bienvenidas- ideal para pequeños)
 

Tarde de Pintura Invernal | Sábado 28 de Febrero | 12:00 - 2pm | Inscripción requerida 

Ilumina el invierno con una acogedora tarde de pintura floral sobre madera grabada. Los participantes pintarán un medallón de madera grabado con láser, creando una pieza única para llevar a casa. Relájate, disfruta una bebida caliente y pasa una tarde creativa y sencilla no se necesita experiencia. Inscripción requerida | máximo 9 participantes

Pequeños Cuentos y tiempo de juego

Hora del cuento con lecturas y actividades para desarrollar la alfabetización: ¡leer- cantar- hablar- escribir- jugar! Luego quédate a jugar para hacer nuevos amigos y disfruta del juego libre mientras se desarrollan habilidades motoras y socioemocionales. No se requiere inscripción.

Clinica Legal Virtual Gratuita Pro Se 

Segundo lunes del mes | 4-6 pm | para quien lo necesite ¿Tienes preguntas legales? ¡Podemos Ayudar!

Cada mes leemos un libro y nos reunimos el primer miércoles para comentarlo. Las reuniones se realizan en la biblioteca o en distintos lugares del pueblo. 

Una vez que te inscribas, Finn se comunicará contigo con los detalles del mes, y podrás pasar por la biblioteca a recoger tu libro.

Club de Crear y Llevar

¡Da rienda suelta a tu creatividad con arcilla polimérica! Niños y niñas de 8 a 12 años diseñarán sus propias mini creaciones usando colorida arcilla polimérica. Este programa práctico fomenta la imaginación, la motricidad fina y la autoexpresión. ¡Todos los materiales están incluidos—solo trae tu creatividad!

 

Cuentitos & Giggles
