LEGO Robotics Lab is taking a break! Keep an eye out on our calendar, our newsletter, and our website for when it will return.

There are a few spots left for our Resume Writing Workshop on Monday, November 17th from 6-7:30pm. We’ll go over teaching you how to write an effective resume to put your best foot forward when you apply for jobs. If you have a laptop, please bring it! If you do not have a computer, you may use one of the library’s. Be sure to sign up HERE.

Don’t forget to sign up for our Holiday Wreath Workshop on Saturday November 22nd! The workshop is free but registration is required HERE. If you have a set of gardening gloves and pruners go ahead and bring them!

We’re on the lookout for our next Program Coordinator! Details about this job can be found on the county’s employment website HERE.

Our Community

We understand these times have been very challenging to many people in our community. Part of our missions and values is to provide a space for the community to come together without cost being an access barrier. We want to remind everyone that the resources at the library are FREE and anyone has the opportunity to get a library card. Spread the word to your friends, family, and neighbors to make sure to get a library card and explore all the good things that come with having one!

Looking to meet people? We have programs for all ages! Check out our website’s calendar and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Bluesky to find out what’s happening.

Looking for a place to just chill? All are welcome at the library. Stop by and stay as long as you like (during business hours of course). We have study tables, couches, and armchairs. Take your pick and hang out with us!

Looking to dive into a good book? We have curated a great selection of books in the library and can pull from more than 40 other libraries around Colorado to get you the books you want to read. For Lake County Residents, we also have access to e-audiobooks on the Libby app for you.

¡Nuestro Laboratorio de LEGO Robótica está tomando un descanso! Mantente atento a nuestro calendario, boletín y sitio web para saber cuándo regresará.

Aún quedan algunos lugares para nuestro Taller de Redacción de Resúmenes el Lunes 17 de noviembre de 6-7:30 pm. Revisaremos cómo escribir un resumen eficaz para presentarte de la mejor manera al solicitar empleo. Si tienes una laptop, ¡traela! Si no tienes computadora, puedes usar una de la biblioteca. Asegúrate de inscribirte AQUÍ.

¡No olvides inscribirte en nuestro Taller de Coronas Navideñas el sábado 22 de noviembre! El taller es gratuito, pero se requiere registro AQUÍ. Si tienes guantes de jardineria y podadoras, ¡adelante y tráelos!

Sabemos que estos tiempos han sido muy difíciles y desafiantes para muchas personas en nuestra comunidad. Parte de nuestra misión y valores es ofrecer un espacio donde la comunidad pueda reunirse sin que el costo sea una barrera de acceso. Queremos recordarles que todos los recursos de la biblioteca son GRATUITOS y cualquier persona puede obtener una tarjeta de la biblioteca. ¡Corran la voz entre sus amigos, familiares y vecinos para que puedan disfrutar de todos los beneficiarios!

¿Quieres conocer gente? ¡Tenemos programas para todas las edades! Revisa el calendario en nuestro sitio web y siguenos en Facebook, Instagram o Bluesky para enterarte de lo que está pasando. 

¿Buscas un lugar para relajarte? Todos son bienvenidos en la biblioteca. Ven y quédate todo el tiempo que tu desees (durante horario de servicio, claro). Tenemos mesas de estudio. Sillones y butacas. ¡Elige tu favorito y pasa un buen rato con nosotros!

¿Quieres sumergirte en un buen libro? Tenemos una selección disponible en la biblioteca y podemos solicitar libros de más de 40 bibliotecas en Colorado para conseguir exactamente lo que te interesa. Para residentes del condado de Lake, también tenemos audiolibros digitales a través de la app Libby.
