Good news! Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library now carries bilingual books! Check your account or register for one today to start getting bilingual books for free every month!

Our Community:

This month, our library participated in the Leadville Pride Parade. We want to give a huge shout out to everyone who came out to celebrate. It was a great time to see our community coming together.

 ​​

We also want to give an enormous THANK YOU to all of our community members and business who have helped us create a not-to-be-missed Summer Reading Challenge for this year! We are just about ready to start the challenge on June 28th and we have SO many awesome goodies for everyone who signs up. Remember, this challenge is for all ages and all kinds of reading count–yes, even audiobooks!

This year our registration prizes are:

• A hat from Melanzana
• Your choice of sticker or enamel pin

Our halfway prizes are: 

• A punch card filled with treats and goodies from around Leadville
• A choice of book from the prize bookshelf for ages 0-11.

Our Finisher prizes are:

• Ages 0-11: Choice of book from the prize book shelf + 12 digital raffle tickets in Beanstack
• Ages 12-17: Choice of book from the prize book shelf -OR- special order book + 12 digital raffle tickets in Beanstack. 
• Ages 18+: Receive 12 digital raffle tickets in Beanstack, automatic entry to win an iPad, and the first 50 adults to finish will also receive a free drink token they can use at Before & After or Treeline!

The first 50 kids (under 18) to complete the challenge will also receive a free NeeDoh Nice Cube from RockyTop Toys!

Este mes, nuestra biblioteca participó en el Desfile del Orgullo de Leadville. Queremos dar un enorme agradecimiento a todas las personas que salieron a celebrar. Fue un gran momento para ver a nuestra comunidad unida.

¡También queremos dar un ENORME GRACIAS a todos los miembros de la comunidad y negocios que nos han ayudado a crear un Reto de Lectura de Verano que no se pueden perder este año!
