We’re manifesting a brilliant 2026 here at the library and am looking forward to sharing all the fun with all of you. There have been some changes to our regular programming and two special programs this month. Read on for more information!

Events & Special Dates

The Winter Reading Challenge will be January 9th through February 9th. All ages are encouraged to participate. Participants must register in Beanstack and the goal is to log 400 minutes of reading. There are prizes for signing up and for finishing. Finishers will also be entered into our grand prize drawings for some seriously cool prizes, too!

 

Cuentos & Champurrado | Monday January 12 | 4-5:30pm

Join us for Cuentos & Champurrado! Enjoy a cozy bilingual storytime, create a small craft, and sip on delicious champurrado. A fun, hands-on experience for kids and families to read, craft, and taste together!

 

Learn Printmaking! | Thursday January 29th | 6:30-8:30pm | Ages 14+

Do you have a creative side? Want to try something new? Come experiment with printmaking! We’ll be learning the basics of carving linoleum blocks and printing your own designs. No experience necessary--just bring your creativity! Space is limited to 10 participants. Registration is required.

Tiny Tales & Playtime

Mondays | 10:30 - 11:30am | Ages 0-5
Storytime from 10:30-11am - Fun read-alouds and activities to build literacy: read-sing-talk-write-play! Then stay & play from 11-11:30am - Make new friends and enjoy open-ended playtime while developing fine and gross motor skills and supporting social emotional learning. No registration required.

Virtual Pro Se Free Legal Clinic

2nd Monday of the month | 4-6pm | Anyone in need

Got legal questions? We can help! Join us for our Free Legal Clinic at the library.

🔹 Volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help with forms, and explain legal processes.

🔹 Spanish interpretation available.

Book Club for Adults

Every month we read one book, and meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays to discuss our readings. Discussion meetings held in the Library, or around town. Once you register, someone from the library will reach out with details regarding details and readers may come to the library to get their book for the upcoming month.

Let’s laugh, learn, and explore two languages! Enjoy stories, songs, and activities in English and Spanish designed to spark joy and early literacy. This program will be held every other Thursday!
 

Little Explorers Club

Every Other Thursday | January 22nd | 10:30-11:30 | Ages 0-5
We’ll dive into hands-on experiments, crafts, and early learning fun as we explore shapes, colors, and letters. Everyone is welcome! We’ll also have time to play and learn together with friends. This program will be held every other Thursday!
 

Tarot Club

Join the Tarot Tarts to enjoy a space of community while learning more about tarot. Bring your deck or use one of ours! No registration required.

Game Night for Adults

Are you an adult who likes playing games? Whether you're new to board games or a pro, come to the library and have fun with us! Every month we'll have a different featured game. Popcorn, hot chocolate, and tea will be provided; feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Leave your kids at home & bring your competitive spirit! No registration required.
 

Magic: The Gathering Club

Do you struggle to get to the library during business hours? Is leaving your home a challenge? We can bring library materials to you! Whether you want to be surprised with topics you choose or you want to choose specific materials, the library can drop off and pick up your items whenever and wherever it is convenient for you. Eventos Y Fechas Especiales

El Desafío de Lectura de Invierno será del 9 de enero al 9 de febrero. ¡Todas las edades invitadas a participar! Los participantes deben registrarse en Beanstack y la meta es registrar 400 minutos de lectura. Habrá premios por registrarse y por completar el desafío. Quienes lo terminen también participarán en el sorteo de grandes premios realmente geniales.  

Cuentos & Champurrado | Lunes 12 de Enero | 4-5:30 pm 

¡Acompañanos en Cuentos y Champurrado! Disfruta de una acogedora hora de cuentos bilingüe, crea una pequeña manualidad y saborea un delicioso champurrado. ¡Una experiencia divertida y práctica para que niños y familias lean, creen y disfruten juntos!

¡Aprende Grabado! | Jueves 29 de Enero | 6:30-8:30 pm | Edad 14+

¿Tienes un lado creativo? ¿Quieres probar algo nuevo? ¡Ven a experimentar con el grabado! Aprenderemos los conceptos básicos de tallar linóleo y estampar tus propios diseños. No se necesita experiencia, ¡solo trae tu creatividad! El cupo está limitado a 10 participantes. Se requiere registro.

Luego, quédate a jugar de 11:00–11:30 a.m. para hacer nuevos amigos y disfrutar de tiempo de juego libre que apoya el desarrollo de habilidades motoras finas y gruesas, así como el aprendizaje socioemocional.

Club de Lectura para Adultos

Solo este mes: 21 de enero | 7-8 pm| Treeline

Cada mes leemos un libro y nos reunimos el 1.º y 3.º miércoles para hablar sobre la lectura. Las reuniones se realizan en la biblioteca o en distintos lugares del pueblo. Una vez que te registres, alguien de la biblioteca se comunicará contigo con los detalles. Los lectores pueden pasar por la biblioteca para recoger el libro del mes siguiente.

Este mes, Anni y Amy estarán a cargo del grupo.

Club Make & Take

Segundo miercole de cada mes | 4:00-5:00 pm | Edades 8-12
Este Enero, ¡ponte cómodo y creativo con nuestra manualidad invernal de tejido con los dedos! Exploramos experimentos prácticos, manualidades y diversión de aprendizaje temprano mientras descubrimos formas, colores y letras. ¡Todos son bienvenidos! También tendremos tiempo para jugar y aprender juntos con amigos. ¡Este programa se realizará cada dos jueves!

 

Club de Tarot

¡Este mes solo es el 15 de enero! | 6:30- 8:30 pm | Edades 18+ (o adolescentes con padre/madre o tutor)Acompaña a The Tarot Tarts y disfruta de un espacio comunitario mientras aprendes más sobre el tarot. ¡Trae tu propio mazo o usa uno de los nuestros! No se requiere registro. 

 

Noche de Juegos para Adultos

¿Eres adulto y te gusta jugar juegos? Ya seas principiante o experto en juegos de mesa. ¡Ven a la biblioteca y diviértete con nosotros! Cada mes presentaremos un juego diferente. Habrá palomitas, chocolate caliente y té; siéntete libre de traer tus propios bocadillos y bebidas. ¡Deja a los niños en casa y trae tu espíritu competitivo!
